Here is the update from our Site Visit Read the Notes below :
Mary went to Sycamore on Saturday, but there was a big Daisy/Brownie Journey day going on where all of the cabins were being used. So, I would like to think that those troops raised any issues!
I did note, that there wasn't firewood around camp, so Keri will be requested that they distribute some. Worst case, we just have to all pick up our own from the work shed.
I would suggest that you look at videos and notes from last year's Camporee page on specific cabins. Also BRING EVERYTHING YOU NEED. Most cabins last year did not have any cooking equipment, only a few did.
Please Signup here. Every helping hand makes this event come together to give our girl scouts an amazing experience. Sign up and lend a hand!
We are ordering Chipotle for dinner on Saturday night for $10 per person. Please let us know if you would like us to include your troop in this order. If you haven't already sent a note to RSVP for dinner, it might be too late.
What is a property waiver?
Everyone who will be at camp during Camporee needs to sign one. Yep. Every last person.
Consult this list to see who is current with waivers and who isn't from your troop.
Need help with how to complete it? It's on Council Alignment and here's a walkthough document you can send
What is head to bed?
We need a list of everyone who will be at camp during Camporee. Yep. Every last person.
Please list your scouts and adults here. If you don't have access to this document, please request it asap. Our deadline for head to bed is quickly approaching. You also need to list any dietary needs on this form.
Don't know what to bring? Take a look at our packing list created by scouts with years of experience.
You need to make sure that you have the things you need as a troop and that the Scouts are dressed for your activitiy choices. Here is the Outdoor Adventures requirements. Be sure to review and make sure to add any necessary items to your troop packing list.

We have instructions and supplies for many of the activites that we have organized from previous SU 23 Camporees available.
The S.K.I.L.L.S. Patch was the focus of our DayCamporee in 2022, Girls Scout Eras was our 2023, Juliette's Quest was our 2024.
We will have some of the supplies for some of these activities for use at our Spring Camporee, as well, available for troops to share in the Multi-Purpose building.
Email mckidd@comcast.net with any specific questions.
Camporee Scavenger Hunt
Explore Camp Sycamore while you brush up on Outdoor, Life and Team Building Skills. You'll have a Scavenger Hunt in your Camporee Welcome packet!
Below is the general schedule for the weekend of Camporee. You will receive a troop specific schedule printed in your welcome packet when you arrive.
We will have a Saturday Dinner option again this year. Based on the type of cabin your troop has chosen (kitchen, partial kitchen, or no kitchen), you must bring supplies to prepare meals for breakfast and lunch and Friday night on your own.
This spreadsheet has a page for every troop. You can edit your tab in the Google share, to add times for your meals and other troop specific activities, but do not edit anyone else's tab. Thanks!
